Handle files as private health information

Downloaded and printed copies may contain birth dates and measurements. Store or share them with the same care you would use for other personal records. The site does not encrypt exported files.

Questions parents ask

Which format can restore my data?

Only the JSON backup file can be restored. Printed pages and CSV exports are readable copies, not restore files.

Does printing upload measurements?

No. Printing uses the browser’s print dialog. Saving as PDF is handled by the browser or operating system.

What happens when I restore a backup?

After a confirmation step, the valid backup replaces the current profile and measurement history in that browser.
